Dr. [Kencee] Graves, who is also board-certified in hospice and palliative medicine, thinks hospital-based palliative-care teams have something to offer to the rest of the hospital when it comes to debriefings after sudden deaths. Palliative care may have more experience with in-the-moment debriefings for deaths on service since it often is involved with more of these challenging cases.
