- Edo Banach, former president and CEO of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, joined Foley Hoag as a partner in its Washington, D.C. office and as co-chair of the firm’s Healthcare Department
- Dr. R. Osvaldo Navia has joined the Tulane University School of Medicine as the first-ever Section Chief of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine and the Myrna L. Daniels Chair in Geriatric Medicine within the John W. Deming Department of Medicine. Dr. Navia is a board-certified expert in geriatric medicine, hospice and palliative care and hospice medical direction.
- Dr. Gilbert N. Witte will retire from his role as Medical Director of HomeCare & Hospice on Dec. 31, after 34 years of service. For 34 years, Witte has been at the heart of hospice care in the agency’s four-county service area [serving Wellsville, Arcade, Batavia, and Allegany, NY], guiding patients and families with both medical expertise and deep compassion.
