Home healthcare patients, caregivers and clinicians have significant knowledge gaps surrounding palliative care, which are contributing to poorer health outcomes for sick patients, according to a new study published in Home Healthcare Now. ... The majority of survey participants agreed that it is the responsibility of doctors and nurse practitioners to inform seriously ill patients about palliative care.
